Research reference
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide, Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro, derived from the endogenous tetrapeptide tuftsin with a stabilizing Pro-Gly-Pro extension conferring resistance to tissue peptidases. Outbred rat model work describes effects on BDNF content in the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex, and on behavioral endpoints in withdrawal models. Research use only. Not for human consumption.
